Tyler Lawrence is a former Division I quarterback, attorney, and founder of Lawrence Management Group, where he provides elite NIL representation rooted in personal experience and legal expertise.

A highly recruited quarterback, Tyler earned a scholarship to the University of Kansas and played on the record-setting, Orange Bowl-winning 2007 team. He finished his playing career at Pittsburg State, while earning his master’s degree—an experience that gave him firsthand insight into the challenges athletes face in key transitions.

After football, Tyler earned his law degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and now practices in Kansas City, specializing in contracts, negotiations, and compliance. His dual background as a lawyer and former athlete uniquely equips him to guide today’s athletes through the complexities of the NIL era.

Tyler’s passion for NIL advocacy began with his younger brother, a top offensive line recruit. Helping him navigate early NIL opportunities revealed a broader need for trusted, knowledgeable representation. What started as family support quickly evolved into a mission to serve athletes across Kansas and beyond.

At Lawrence Management Group, Tyler combines championship-level playing experience, legal expertise, and a profound understanding of the athlete’s journey to help clients protect their interests and build lasting legacies.

Tyler lives in the Kansas City metropolitan area with his wife, Lauren (Willis), and three young children. He remains passionate about sports, the outdoors, and empowering athletes. For him, NIL is more than business—it’s personal.
